I’m never stuck for things to do or places to see when it comes to travelling. Often the hardest part is deciding which place to visit first! Whilst this is certainly not the worst position to be in, I’ve been thinking recently about how nice it would be to think about visiting places intentionally. Often, when I travel, it’s been for a holiday, or sometimes just a well needed break. I can usually be found poolside on a beach for several hours of the day and this is I can’t lie.. my favourite place. But this time around, especially when it comes to visiting European countries, I’ve really been thinking about travelling intentionally, planning to visit places and sites I would like to see in the world as a priority and really just soaking up this energy.
Over the past few years I’ve been really lucky to experience many beautiful cities, and I’m really excited and looking forward to seeing so much more. I can’t wait to go back to some of my favourite places and experience them all over again, take some nice pictures and enjoy some lovely food.
If you’ve not caught the travelling bug yet, I challenge you to not fall in love with life all over again. Once you’ve realised your sitting in a beautiful cafe, having a lovely brunch, with great company (or even on your own) on a Monday morning! There are fewer more refreshing rewards in life, than to experience another version of it, and what better way than through travel. I also find it really nice to just have some switch off time. Just to change the pace a little – especially deserved when I’ve been really busy with work. Here’s a list of my top European travel destinations. Some of which I’ve been to and some that I can’t wait to see. I’d would love to hear what places you’ve visited or can’t wait to see visit in the future. Let me know, what’s on your list?
